Building scalable solutions and turning ideas to impact From natural-language floorplans to self-hosted AI coding platforms — every project here is built end to end.
Projects
Full projects I've designed, built, and shipped — each one with a clear stack and a real problem to solve. Pick one to see it in detail.

A self-hosted, LeetCode-style practice platform with a living problem generator.
Natural language in, architectural floorplans out.
A multi-source news aggregator that reads, summarizes, and clusters the day.
Real-time voice chat layered over Chess.com games.
An AI headless CMS that turns repo history into published writing.
Codebases rendered as explorable 3D island archipelagos.
Activity
Commits and solved problems, pulled live from GitHub and LeetCode.
Highlights
A live activity gauge, plus a terminal where you can browse every project like a filesystem.
How active the portfolio is right now, read from live GitHub signals. A higher index means momentum — code being shipped.
Experience
A timeline of the roles and teams that shaped my engineering.
Built a supervised ML pipeline for financial forecasting on 30K+ mobile-banking transaction records — end-to-end preprocessing, feature engineering, and fine-tuning. Evaluated with precision, recall, F1, and ROC-AUC, then shipped results as Angular + Spring Boot dashboards into the company's Java codebase.
Implemented a message-history viewing feature and iterated with maintainers through code review. Worked across the Django backend and TypeScript/Handlebars frontend.
Built and maintained the club's website and event tooling — recruitment portals, leaderboards, and hackathon sites — as part of the developer team.
Designed capture-the-flag challenges for campus cybersecurity events.
Skills
Grouped by discipline — fundamentals, core stack, and applied AI/ML. Hover a group to see what it covers.
Languages and core tools that everything else is built on.
Generative models, agents, and applied machine learning.
The frameworks and tooling I use day to day to ship production software.

Experiments
Smaller builds and experiments. Not shipped, not hidden — ideas in progress.
A procedural desktop pet overlay in Rust with Wayland-aware always-on-top.
ESP communication experiments — direct peer messaging and ESP-NOW mesh across terminal and web.
A privacy-first Flutter app reading typing patterns and notification sentiment, fully on-device.
A retrieval-augmented travel assistant grounding LLM answers in curated destinations.
Lightweight telemetry and intrusion detection with centralized device management.
A git implementation written from scratch in Go.
Summarizes documents and images in a variety of ways.
A GNOME extension shifting wallpaper by time of day on Wayland.
About
I'm Tharun S.D.R. — a full-stack & ai/ml developer based in Chennai, India. I build end-to-end systems where a model, a backend, and a browser all have to hold together: language-to-floorplan pipelines, self-hosted AI coding platforms, 3D codebase visualizers.
My through-line is turning abstract ideas into working products — an AST into a visualization, a room description into a floorplan, a repo's history into documentation. I care about usability, security, and whether a thing actually works in production.
Currently finishing my B.Tech in Computer Science at VIT Chennai (class of 2027) while interning, contributing to open source, and shipping in the spaces between. When I'm not coding I'm building CTF challenges, tinkering with ESP32 mesh networks, and desktop pets in Rust.
